“I have a two year old Standard Poodle who is very bright. Unfortunately due to “life” getting in the way her training came to a grinding halt. In a few weeks we are driving to Mexico and my dog will not jump into the trunk or car. She weighs 70 lbs and is too heavy to lift in.
I sent out an urgent distress call to BEST K9 to come and teach my dog to get in the car under her own steam. Becky is awesome she got back to me immediately and set up a training date for the following day. I was asking a lot of Becky as she does not know my dog. In order to ensure both myself and my dog were prepared for more than just getting into the car Becky reviewed all of our basic training. In conjunction with verbal and silent commands Becky also used the Lady Educator. Both my dog and I responded to Becky’s calm and informative technique.
Once she was satisfied we had a good handle on the basics we graduated to the car. For some reason my dog was frightened of getting into the car. Within minutes Becky solved the problem.
Becky makes it all look so simple however if you lack the knowledge it is not. The next day I tested the training. I am thrilled to announce that I now have a dog that will get in and out of the car. I highly recommend Becky as a trainer. She is extremely knowledgeable and has a lovely calm manner with animals and provides leadership for them.
